Today we played our first game at Nationals and WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our boys played an incredible game against Indiana 2 (2nd place team from IN). Austin quizzed out (YES!!!) and both of the boys had 90 points each at the conclusion of the game. They each won a gold medal for their individual score and they also each won a bronze medal for Teamwork (there was not more than a 10 point difference between their individual scores). The bronze medal is the most-prized medal they are awarding this week and our boys were the first Beginner team to win it! As you can tell, we are very excited and very proud of our two boys!

Wow! I have been following the nationals online while we are in Wisconsin! I called the boys and told them Austin won his first game. They very excited! Tell him Congrats from the McLaughin's! We wish we were there with you! Maybe next year!
Veta - Tell your boys we'll look forward to spending a week at Nationals with them too! While you're in Wisconsin maybe you'll run into my parents - Darrell and Cindy Collins. They are staying on the WI campgrounds while doing their deputation in that District. If you see them, give my mom a hug for me!
