Yikes, Ike!

Well, Ike has come and gone and we are safe and sound. Thank you Jesus! We had some limbs to fall on our house, but they merely did minor damage. We also had two trees fall at our church, and one is resting on one of our school buildings. There is minor damage to our classroom, but the tree destroyed part of our playground fence and is blocking the entrance to two of our classrooms. So... no school this week while we wait on insurance adjusters. My sister and her family are staying with us until power is restored to their home in Beaumont - no flooding or damage, PTL!
